The warm, nostolgic and all-American experience of Barrel House Coffee Co. starts before you even walk in the glass doors or onto the huge wedding reception-sized outdoor patio. It starts with the picturesque downtown with tidy sidewalks and longstanding storefronts. Walking through Ball Ground, Georgia is like walking back through a childhood, someone’s childhood that was simple, fulfilling and humbling. The streets are adorned with fall decor and enthusiastic shop owners lean in readily with pumpkins, hay and scarecrows on display. Downtown is lined with layers of patterned pavers, decorative brick patterns and carefully laid cobblestones. A train track cuts through main street, lending a historic mystique, with years of trains crossing these very streets making stops along their rushed route to deliver needed goods, metal or materials. Maybe even bourbon whisky.

Coffee contains 800+ aromatic compounds.
Bourbon whisky first rose to prominence in Kentucky. According to CaskX, a distillery investment platform, Scottish-Irish settlers brought their whisky-making skills to America, swapping corn as the main ingredient in place of barley.
Soon Kentucky started to became the hotbed of whisky production it is known as today. An affinity for whisky spread throughout the nation and has influenced many other industries. One among them, coffee.
The innovative owners of Barrel House Coffee Co. brainstormed using bourbon whisky barrels to infuse flavor into their coffee roasts. Whisky lovers and coffee lovers alike appreciated the unique combination.
